People laughed, cried, played and worked. But a lot was of course also different. Some believed in the old gods such as Thor, Oden and Freya, while others had found a new faith – Christianity. The adventure with Halvdan and Meia is about how with cunning and friendship you can win over both kings, chiefs and bearers.
In the Viking village at Funnys Äventyr, you can visit Völvan to tell your future, take a walk along the palisade and look out over the moat and then ride the slide down into the pig house.

Martin Widmark
Martin Widmark was born in 1961 and lives in southern Stockholm. As a children’s book author, he is above all known for the book series LasseMaja’s Detective Agency. Martin Widmark’s books have been translated into nearly forty languages and have sold over 12 million copies, of which roughly 5 million were sold ex abroad.
